Custom Design Process

 
Looking for something Unique?  You've come to the right place!

My favorite thing is creating new designs with inspiration and ideas from my clients.
There is nothing like playing with new concepts and drawing up designs with specific people in mind.  If you are in need of custom wedding invitations, stationery for yourself or your business, event announcements, or a special gift, I can help!

I have the ability to draw up any concept and make practically any type of gift you can dream up... just ask!  Below are just some of the services I offer... have a question?  Please contact me and we'll chat about your needs!

The Wedding Suite Ordering Process

     The very first step in having me create your wedding stationery is to contact me!  Give me some information on what you're looking for, your style and budget and I will get back to you with a price quote for the amount of invitations you're needing for the items you are interested in.  Once the designing gets under way, you will have many ideas to choose from and several options in all spectrums of your budget so you have control over how much you spend as well as what your stationery will look like. 

     After an initial consultation either in person or over email, I will send you a deposit request and contract for $150.  This covers your design fee, any samples I create for you and holds your spot in my calendar.  $50 of this fee will be a credit on your final product order.  You may either pay by check (if you are in the Kansas City Metro Area) or by credit/debit card.  

     Once the deposit has been received, I will come up with 3-4 different design sketches from the information I gathered at our consultation.  I pay close attention to your style as a couple, the vision you have for your special day, and the colors you love.  

     Once the final designs have been created and approved, I will create a complete printed proof that will be mailed to you along with the final contract and invoice, or again if you're in the Kansas City Area, we can meet to go over these things.  Once you have proof-read and approved the finished product, sign the contract and return it along with payment and you will receive your beautiful custom invitations by the date indicated on the contract!

     If you are interested in seeing some past designs or would like a sample mailed to you, please fill out the form on the Contact Me page.  Samples that are on hand will be mailed out.  Custom samples can be created for a fee.  

     You may view some of our past custom designs in the online Portfolio.  If you live in the Kansas City area, you may make an appointment for a consultation and view my work in person.  

Standard Party & Announcement Pricing

     This is the standard pricing chart used for standard invitations & party extras.  This pricing is for printing on heavy white or ivory linen embossed cardstock.  Other paper options are available upon request.

Return address printing on your outer envelopes is standard!  Be sure to include the address you would like on the envelope if it is different from the shipping address on your order. 

Digital Calligraphy is available upon request.  .45 per envelope

     I require your addresses to be given to me in an excel spreadsheet or word document.  I will provide you with addressing etiquette for proper formatting. 

Wrap-Around Address Labels to match your wedding suite are available blank or pre-printed.  

Blank - .35 each  Pre-printed with your address  .75 each

Invitation/Announcement Card with envelope 5x7, 5.5 x 5.5, or 4x8        $2.25 - $1.15 each

Folded Thank You Notes 4.25 x 5.5        $1.25 - $1.75 each

     A minimum order of 15  invitations is required, and a minimum order of 25 note cards are required. I do NOT charge extra for reprints, but keep in mind that depending on the print schedule that week, it could take a few days.  If you need them within 24 hours and my schedule is full, a rush fee WILL apply.  It is always smart to order a few more than you need to avoid the added stress.  After the initial minimum order is met, please order in multiples of 5.
